The treehouse sleeps up to 4 in a double bed and 2 singles. This arrangement is perfect for families looking for a unique and unforgettable experience and can also suit small groups who prefer to stay together.
Lantana has its own ensuite bathroom with WC and hot shower as well as a generous balcony overlooking Lake Bunyonyi. The ideal place to relax and watch the wildlife.

“We’ve had a number of requests from our tour groups as well as from groups and families looking to stay together.
“Building work on Lantana commenced at the end of 2023 and we’ve worked very hard to get the unit fitted to a high standard which retains all the originality of our treehouses for a unique experience.”

Itambira Island Welcomes Guests
Itambira Island offers a unique opportunity to stay on Lake Bunyonyi. Day visitors are welcome to visit our facilities and restaurant, while guests can also book overnight accommodation in treehouses, roundhouses or the house on the hill. We’ve expanded and now have treehouses on the lake as well as among the trees; plus simple, cheap and clean budget/backpacker options for those on a budget.
