We’ve had so many reviews recently, we thought we’d share our guests’ feedback on a dedicated new page. 

Here is just one of the great comments we’ve received from people who’ve visited or stayed with us on the Island, which was written on TripAdvisor:

“This is a wonderful place to stay on this beautiful lake high up in South Western Uganda.

“It is new and is run in order to fund community development projects in the local area – hence the name “Seeds of Hope”.

“You arrive by boat which is magical in itself and accommodation is in several secluded and individual tree and stilted houses each with its own bathroom.

“The lodge is run on eco principles though a generator does supplement the hot water system in the evenings so warm showers are the order of the day.

“The restaurant has a wonderful terrace and the food is delicious. The whole lodge is secluded within trees and the views from the houses are amazing.

“This is wonderful place to rest and relax if you are en route to see gorillas or visit the national parks of Western Uganda. I took advantage of the dugout canoe experience to see the abundant bird life on the lake, I had a magnificent view of the sunset from my stilted house and was lucky enough to witness the training of local people in new agricultural practices whilst I was there. Their singing and dancing was magnificent.
